Our Root Sourcing

It’s our goal to one day meet all demand for bareroots with those grown right here on our farm, but that takes time. While a portion of the roots we ship each season come directly from our own fields, we also supplement our supply with roots from the same trusted growers in the Netherlands who provided the original stock for our fields. These growers are known for their exceptional quality and consistency.

Shipping Timeline
Peony roots are dug and processed in the fall. As soon as the roots arrive at our farm, your order is packaged and shipped right away. Roots typically arrive and begin shipping to customers between October and November, depending on the season and weather conditions. If you’d prefer to plant your roots in spring, we’re happy to hold your order in our cooler until then. Just let us know!
