4” ball
My #1 for blooms, tuber production and tuber storage. You may have seen my odes to Jowey Winnie on Instagram…if I could only grow one ball dahlia, she’s the one. I hoarded the cuttings and tubers to myself for years, and finally have enough to share with you. Flowers are on the large side for a ball dahlia, but still with that tight spherical shape. And the color! Mauve in the center where petals are closed, pinker toward the outside as they open, but with yellow in each petal’s throat, she looks like she’s glowing from the inside.

Well I got my Dahlias, tubers look good, packaging good . Some already had some growth on them. But man I can’t stand Nerds but the Nerds they sent with the Dahlias were amazing. I will review the rest after I get them in the ground. Thanks so much.

Viable tubors received with prominent eye/eyes. I would definitely order from Muddy Acres again! They also sent a beautiful postcard with planting directions printed on the back. The front had a mix of pretty dahlias on it.
